Description

A platform for us to share photos in an environment that respects our
freedom and independence. In the future MediaGoblin will include support
other media, like video, and provide tools to facilitate collaboration
on media projects.

Configuration

self-hosted-db
(string) Set this to anything other than 'yes' to leave the database unconfigured until a compatible database server is related to the service. If this is set to yes, a local instance of the database will be installed and used on each peer independently. Said database will be left in place and ignored if an external database service is related to the service.

(string) Video puts a lot more strain on the system and requires more space. You may want to set this to 'no' if you are running a public service.

(string) Set to anything other than 'yes' to leave sessions unconfigured until a memcached server is related to the service. If this is set to yes, memcached will be installed and used for sessions across peers until a memcached service is related.

(string) This is used in any emails coming from the server. The browser's hostname is normally used. mediagoblin.ini -> email_sender_address
